Tyler Wynn Surrey is quite the winner, anything he sets his mind to on a skateboard or anything that he comes across whether it’s music ping pong or just rollin a proper banger, he will succeed! Finland for the never ending summer days and good vibes with the homies.
Colombia for the food, spots, and good people. Last time we were there Zack Wallin bought the biggest avocado I’ve ever seen for like 90 cents and then this really kind lady working at the hostel made us guacamole with our breakfast with the leftovers.

3 best skate spots you’ve ever been to

This plaza in Shanghai
The Concourse parking structure in downtown San Diego
The Baracaldo grey bumps that Silas had a cover 180 5-0’ing a fat tube. My friends Alva and Pitxu and I found it driving back to Madrid from Bilbao so we slept in his van on the street and skated it all day the next day. That place is a dream spot if you don’t get kicked out.

3 famous spots you wish never have been to, or most disappointing spots
This pretty famous big 3 stair in the Canary Islands. I destroyed my ankle on that thing and still have pain almost every day from it.
Macba, just because it’s so hyped up while there’s a million other amazing spots in Barcelona.

3 slams you won’t forget
Catching a bone spur with the ligament in my ankle out of nowhere, trying to nollie flip out of a nose manual at Portero Park on my first Transworld trip. That put me out for 9 months and couldn’t switch flip for 14 months. Chipping off the cartilage and partially tearing 2 tendons and one ligament in my other ankle on that big 3 in the Canary Islands on Wes’ SOTY Thrasher trip. That put me out for 10 months. Trying to switch front board this mini 2 stair shoot out rail in Tijuana. It was like a joke spot and me and Wes were pretty young and had drinken a 32 oz bottle of Tecate each. I missed the pop and fully sacked it and ripped my pants. We had a good laugh about that one.

3 things you have to do, but you always say “let’s do it tomorrow…”
Paying my taxes, smoke less, and get this trick at Macba I’ve tried over the course of probly 4 years now.

3 things or scenes you witnessed randomly in the street when skating that you’ll never forget
This girl standing on a dock in Amsterdam with a frightened look and the most blank stare and giant pupils. She just looked like she was a million miles away in a scary place. I can’t forget that face.
Tom Knox getting chased by a guy on drugs in Battersea Park in London, then Tom Karangelov body checked him to the ground and held him down. Then he ran after us for like a mile until he finally gave up.

3 things coming this year you’re looking forward
Seeing all the homie’s parts in the new Sk8mafia video, going to Ethiopia with my girl, and mastering some songs on the piano.

3 persons you enjoy travel with, and why
Wes and marius. They’re the original roll dogs and nothing would make sense without them, especially traveling. Tom knox because he always has some funny/witty remarks that result in some epic sayings or brilliant and funny ideas. And, although I didn’t travel with him much, P-stone because no matter the circumstances he kept everyone comfortable, laughing, warm, and fed. Nobody had it like him. He was born to be a road warrior.

3 best sessions ever
Earl Warren downhill hallway on mushrooms. Bombing it for hours and then watching Wes get one of the best lines ever (his opening line in the Sk8mafia Am vid). A whole summer skating the homie Canyon’s mini ramp everyday with Wes and Marius and the homies. And all the Poway Park night sessions back in the day. Pretty much the whole San Diego scene would be there, you didn’t even have to call anyone. So fun.

Un Plazza à Shanghai
Le spot du Concourse parking au centre de San Diego
Le bump noir de Baracaldo au Portugal, là où Silas avait la couverture d’un TWS sur la grosse barre au-dessus. Moi et mes potes Alva et Pixu avons trouvé le lieu, sur la route de Madrid en revenant de Bilbao. On a dormi dans la voiture dans la rue et avons skaté le spot toute la journée le jour suivant. C’est un spot de rêve, tant que tu ne te fais pas viré.

3 morceaux que tu écoutes en boucle
The Gaylads – Sounds of Silence, Quantic – Cumbia Sobre el Mar, and Triana – El Lago. J’essaie d’apprendre à jouer les morceaux de Gaylands et Triana au piano en ce moment.

3 spots décevants
Ces fameux trois blocs aux Iles Canaries. Je me suis détruit la cheville dessus et j’ai toujours mal, tous les jours depuis ça.
Macba, car c’est vraiment surcoté alors qu’il y a un million d’autre spots incroyables à Barcelone

3 chutes que tu n’oublies pas
Je me suis déchiré un ligament de la cheville en essayant nose manual nollie flip out à Portero Park pendant mon premier trip avec Transworld. Neuf mois sans skate et quatorze moi sans pouvoir faire switch flip.
Je me suis ébréché un cartilage et partiellement déchiré deux tendons et un ligament sur l’autre cheville sur ces blocs au Iles Canarie, pendant le tour SOTY de Wes avec Thrasher. Dix mois sans skate.
En essayant switch flip front board sur ce petit rail de deux marches à Tijuana. C’était un spot juste pour rire, moi et Wes étions très jeunes, on avait bu une bouteille de Tecate d’un litre, chacun. On a beaucoup ri en y repensant.

3 choses que tu dois faire et que tu reportes toujours au lendemain
Payer les impôts
Moins fumer
Et rentrer ce trick à Macba que j’essaye depuis quatre ans

3 scènes mémorable dont tu as été témoins dans la rue
Cette fille, sur les docks à Amsterdam, avec un look effrayant, des pupilles complétement dilatées et le regard vide. On aurait dit qu’elle était à des millions de kilomètres dans un endroit effrayant. Je n’oublierai pas ce visage.
Tom Knox, poursuivi par un type défoncé à Battersea Park à Londres, Tom Karangelov l’a plaqué au sol et retenu. Puis il nous a couru après sur un kilomètre avant de laisser tomber.

3 choses que tu attends cette année
Voir tous mes potes dans la video Sk8mafia.
Aller an Ethiopie avec ma copine
Et maîtriser des morceaux au piano

3 personnes avec qui tu aimes voyager
Wes et Marius. Mes potes de toujours, ça n’aurait pas sens sans eux, surtout pour les voyages.
Tom Knox car il a toujours de bons mots et drôles et brillantes idées.
Et aussi, bien que je n’ai pas beaucoup voyagé avec lui, P-Stone car il rend tout le monde à l’aise et prends soin de tout le monde, quel que soit les circonstances. Il a ce sens inné.

3 meilleures sessions
Le couloir en descente de Earl Warren, sous champs, faisant des descentes pendant des heures, puis voir Wes faire un des meilleures line (celle qui ouvre sa part dans la vidéo Sk8mafia Am).
Skater la mini de mes potes de Canyon, pendant tout l’été chaque jour, avec Wes et Marius.
Les sessions au Poway Park, à l’époque. Pratiquement toute la scène de San Diego se retrouvait là-bas, tu n’avais même pas besoin d’appeler quelqu’un.
